HRSA Granted ARPA Funding for The ARC Sustainability Analysis

Helena, Montana: On October 16, 2023, the Helena City Commission granted HRSA’s request for $47,500 in ARPA funds to help pay for a Sustainability Analysis of The ARC. A complete sustainability and community-wide economic analysis is now underway and will be completed in January, 2024.

“This study is critical to confirm that The ARC will be economically self-sustainable once it is constructed,” said Heather Grahame, Board Member at HRSA. “We wholeheartedly thank and appreciate the Helena City Commission’s support for this project.”

About Helena Regional Sports Association: The Helena Regional Sports Association (HRSA) was formed to help vibrant regional sports organizations be more successful by creating community partnerships to build, operate and maintain tournament-quality facilities and provide access to an expanded, shared pool of volunteers. HRSA has joined forces with the Lewis and Clark County Fair Board to design and construct The ARC. This Public/Private Partnership is now working tirelessly throughout the community to not just assess unmet needs, but to address them with an indoor facility second to none.


HRSA Appoints New Executive Director Andrew Gordon

Helena, Montana: The Helena Regional Sports Association (HRSA) recently announced that Andrew Gordon will be assuming the role of Executive Director for the HRSA, effective November 17, 2023.

Andrew has been supporting HRSA and their mission since June of 2023 and brings over 23 years of professional experience across various industries and companies to the team as we continue building momentum for the planning and completion of The ARC Sporting and Events Complex. He is also the founder and managing partner at Vision Growth Capital Group in Helena, MT.

“As a native Helenan, I’m passionate about helping to shape the future of my hometown,” says Andrew Gordon, Executive Director at HRSA. “I can’t imagine a better investment in the health, wellness, and economic vitality of our entire region than providing a community destination like The ARC for all our friends and neighbors to enjoy for generations to come.”

“Andy has been a great addition to our team,” says Paul Landes, Board Member at HRSA. “His commitment to the project and streamlining our efforts over the past six months have been crucial to helping us reach our initial planning goals for this facility.”
